Senior Road Safety Auditor Accreditation
To become a Senior Road Safety Auditor you shall:
- Have a minimum of five years’ recent crash investigation or road safety engineering experience.
- Knowledge of current practice in road design or traffic engineering principles.
- Have been an Audit Team Member on at least five road safety audits within the previous two years under the guidance of an accredited Senior Road Safety Auditor. Audits must be either: Feasibility, Preliminary Design, Detailed Design or Pre/Post opening stage audits.
- Have successfully completed the WA Road Safety Engineering – Treatment of Crash Locations training course, or a recognised equivalent Australian / New Zealand training course within the previous five years, OR be a current practising WA accredited Road Safety Auditor.
- Have successfully completed the WA Road Safety Audit training course, or a recognised equivalent Australian / New Zealand training course within the previous five years, OR be a current practising WA accredited Road Safety Auditor.
- Have led a Road Safety Audit Team within Australia under the guidance of an Independent Mentor who is an accredited Senior Road Safety Auditor.
