Audit Report Registration

As per Audit Guidelines and Code of Conduct, all audit reports must be registered. Some organisations, such as Main Roads WA, also require a full copy of the audit report to be submitted with the registration. Please check with the road/project manager.

Registration of audit reports allows stakeholders to ascertain whether an audit has already been completed at a particular location. This will prevent unnecessary duplication of audits.

The electronic completion of the Road Safety Audit Report Registration Form is the only method in which Senior Road Safety Auditors can register Audits. 

Audits submitted for registration are not checked to determine if the technical content has been appropriately distributed to asset managers for consideration. Persons or organisations commissioning an audit must ensure that the report is submitted to the relevant asset managers (State government, Local Government or other) as a process separate to the audit registration.
