Mentoring Trainee Team Leaders

Mentoring Trainee Team Leaders

To apply for Senior Road Safety Auditor Accreditation, you must complete an audit under the mentorship of an accredited Senior Road Safety Auditor and submit a copy of the checklist for Mentoring of Trainee Team Leaders with your application.

Following the changes introduced to road safety audit delivery in Western Australia over the last few years the Road Safety Audit Panel has reviewed the mentoring process and determined that the mentoring of trainee team leaders will temporarily only be permitted to be conducted as part of the road safety audit training course practical module delivery.

This restriction has been introduced to ensure trainee team leaders are mentored in a consistent manner during this interim period, until the changes recently introduced to road safety audit delivery are fully embedded.

Please be advised there is no cost for the mentoring of trainee team leaders as part of the road safety audit training course practical module delivery. However, mentees will have to evidence that they are nearing the experience requirements for Senior Road Safety Auditor accreditation provided on the road safety audit portal website to be eligible.

If you are either interested in being mentored to become an accredited Senior Road Safety Auditor or if you are a Senior Road Safety Auditor who is interested in becoming involved in the mentoring process as part of the road safety audit training delivery please contact the panel by emailing us on   This email address is being protected from spambots.
